There is a place on the web where we can play and use our imaginations. That place is called: VZones
Page 1 Introduction
The Zone that I call Home is NewHorizones
VZones is a 3D world where I meet people from all over the world, chat, play games, decorate apartments called turfs, and in general it is my home away from home. My 3D "avatar" named Brin walks and talks and acts out what I want to express to those I meet. It was in the VZones that I met the man who was to become my husband. "In-world" Brin met a man called Bossman. Brin and Bossman found that there was more to the relationship than a daily chat in-world. After months of chatting on-line and phone calls from US to England and England to US...(that's right Bossman lived in England and I live in the US) ...we decided that it was time to meet in the "real world". Stuart flew to the US and we hit it off right away.... it was like we had always known each other. I made a trip to England to meet Stuart's family and spend time in his real world. Well after that the rest is history.
To give you an idea of what the VZones is like, on the following pages are pictures of my turfs and some of my favorite places in-world.
There are plenty of public spots to have conversations with people but those people with whom we wish to have more personal conversations join us in our private space... I have my personal turf, Brin and Bossman share a turf in London, and a vacation turf in Honolulu.
My personal turf where I spend my time is also in London. The turfs start out empty. We paint them and decorated them to create our own spaces that reflect our personality and personal taste. It is a wonderful pastime decorating a turf and collecting toys, hats and other worldly items.
