This is a very sparkling and interesting dichroic cab. I have framed the cab in 20 guage ss wire and secured the cab with 24 guage ss wire. I think it turned out pretty well. The wires going across weren’t as straight as I would have liked, there are bends where there shouldn’t be.

This is the first week this season that I am late with my post. It was one of my goals to be on time and that one is broken… in the words of someone I once knew… “Oh Well!!”
Swarovski crystals, sterling silver chain, 21 guage sterling silver earwires, and torch beaded ends on the 22 guage headpins all combine to make these swinging, funky earrings just in time for the spring thaw… at least I hope this is the spring thaw that the groundhog predicted….

This week finds me making lanyards. We have access / ID cards that we use at work to get through security doors. I made a lanyard for myself and it just went on from there. Japanese beads, sterling silver 18g wire. The plastic holder for the access cards clip through the wire circle. This one is an order for a second one from a satisfied customer. Although these aren’t very fancy they are my bread-n-butter some weeks.

I saw these beads and the rough irregularities spoke to me. They were strung with some interesting silver beads to create this chunky bracelet. The only wire work was on the clasp. Looking at it again, I think a heavier guage wire would fit the scale of the beads better. It has an earthy feel and is very comfortable to wear.
