Kiha 31

The KIHA 31 is a self-propelled diesel-hydraulic passenger car.
The KIHA is also unique because it operates on a 2-speed transmission similar to that of a car with a manual gearbox and can also be slowed down with the engine brake which eliminates the use of the gears and inevitably saves wear and tear on the brake shoes of the loco.
