From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eisenberg an der Raab is a small village in Burgenland, Austria south of St. Martin an der Raab, near the Slovenian and Hungarian frontiers.

The Virgin Mary is said to have appeared on October 8, 1955 to Mrs Aloisia Lex. From 1956 to 1992 at the site where Mary is said to have appeared there was a mysterious cross in the grass, the so-called Lawn Cross of Eisenberg. This cross was said to be a result neither of chemicals in the ground nor of physical effects. It has not existed since June 16, 1993.
