To create the Image.
1. Open a "New Image" 400x400, select a transparent background,
2. Select the text tool and click anywhere in the new image, making sure that the following options are selected:
0 kerning, 0 leading,
Check the "AntiAlias" box,
Choose the colors you wish to use in the "style" area,
Choose the vector button,
Type whatever text you want in the font of your choosing,
Hit OK.
3. Go to "Layers" and choose "Convert to raster layer"
If you wish to add tubes to your image.
Add a new raster layer (go to "layers", "new raster layer", then choose the tube tool and add a tube) for each tube picture you add so that you can move them to the desired location independently. When done adding tubes to the image, go to "Layers" and select "Merge; Merge visible"
To create the reflection.
1. Go to "Layers" and select "Duplicate"
2. Then go to "Image" and select "Flip",
3. Go to the Layer Palette tool bar, and slide the opacity (the black to white gradient bar) from 100 down to what you like...usually around 35 or so depending on your preferences.
Time to check your layers.
Go to your layer pallet window and check to see the layers you have in your image
If you didn't add tubes, there should be the following layers...
"Layer 1" (right click and delete this layer. You don't need it),
"Layer 2" (right click on this layer and rename it "Image")
"Copy of Layer 2" (right click on this layer and rename it "Reflection")
If you added tubes, there should be
Merged (rename "Image")
Copy of Merged (rename "Reflection")
To create the Shadow.
1. In the Layer Palette, select the "Image" layer (to make it the layer that you are going to be working from again)
2. Select "Layers" and from that menu select "Duplicate"
3. Then select "Effects" and from the drop down menu select "Geometric"
4. From the pop-up window choose the following...
Skew: Horizontal=25, Vertical=0
Time to check them layers again.
In your layer palette now there should be the following
layers...
"Image",
"Copy of Image" (right click on this layer and rename it "Shadow"),
"Reflection",
5. Go back to your layer palette and select the layer you just renamed "Shadow".
6. Where it says "Normal", click the little arrow and select "Dodge" from the drop-down menu (this will turn the image black).
7. Still in the layer palette, slide the opacity of the "Shadow" layer from 100 down to what you like...usually around 30, again depends on your preferences).
8. Go to "Layers" and choose "Arrange" then select "Send to bottom" (this will send the shadow to its correct position)
9. Go to "Effects" and select "blur"
10. Go back to "Effects" and select "blur more"
11. Select the "Deformation tool" which will put a box around the shadow. Put your cursor on the top, center box and click and drag it down to where you like it (to give the shadow effect so it's not identical size to the original image)
To Finish the Signature.
1. Select the "mover tool" from your toolbar and click on each image and move
them to the area you want them to be.
2. Select the "Crop" tool and surround your image closely to cut down on the file size
of your image.
3. Go to "Image", "Crop"
4. Save your image in the format you want.
