Using the Gallery.

Using the login, (example pic shown on the Below (fig 1)), log into the gallery with your username and password.

Once you are logged into the gallery you can browse all the categories. For the tutorial I am going to show what each of the controls on the actual image page's are. This will help you in getting the most out of your gallery experience.
I have split the main image page into sections to help explain the page layout better.

Figure 2 shows the top part of the image page. The top bar shows where you are in the gallery, (If at any time you wish to return to the home page, click home). The next is Random Images, this is the category that you are looking at. The third part is the name of the picture you are looking at.
Just below that you can see Previous image - Heather 1 and on the other side Next image - Janet 1. This is the equivalent to a slide show and enables you to click through all the images in any one category.
The next header shows the title of the image you are currently looking at, in this case the name of the image is Heather 2. Next to the image is a small blue NEW. This shows that the image was uploaded into the gallery in the past 10 days. The final part is the picture itself...

Fig 3 shows the page just below the picture. The first line shows 4 buttons. These buttons have either a white text, (As in the picture above) or the text is shaded out. If the text is shaded out then the button doesn't do anything. Each of the buttons do the following...
Album - Adds the image to your Album, If there is a picture that you really like, click this button and it will be added to your picture album.
E-Card - This allows you to send the picture as an E-Card to yourself or others.
Download - Allows you to download the image to your computer.
Zip - Downloads the image in a Zip Format, this will save time and space in both your download time and on your computer.
The next box shows the name of the picture, the description and keywords. These keywords are used with the search to aid finding the pictures you want. i.e. your name.
The Date is the date that the file was uploaded into the gallery and Hits is the amount of times the image has been viewed. Downloads is the amount of times that the picture has been downloaded.
The rating score shows the average rating people have scored this image. File size shows the actual size of the image in Kb. This is also helpful in letting you know just how long it would take to download.
The Added by shows the name of the person who uploaded the picture.
The final part is a Rating box. This allows both guests and registered users to rate the image on a scale of 1 - 5 with 5 being the highest points available.

It also allows you to view the persons If you are logged into the forum you will see under the ratings bar a post comments section. This allows you to post any comments that you have for the image. It will show your name and the information that you fill out is the Headline of your comment and your actual comment on the picture.
The button bar under this is for BB code. This is simple HTML coding and from left to right the buttons are...
B - Bold text, I - Italic text, U - Underline text, IMG - allows you to link to an image, HTTP:// - allows you to link to your website or to your favorite website, Code - Code automatically indents the text you reference and preserves the formatting of the coded text. List - Adds a bulleted list to your comment.
The next button is post comment... Pretty evident what this does ;o) posts your comment to the picture.
The bottom of the page is the same as the top and shows links to the Previous and Next image.

If there is any comments you will see the above in the page. This shows a comment that has been added to the picture. It shows the name of the person who wrote it, what rank they are in the gallery the date they joined the gallery, shows the comment they posted and the time they posted the comment.
It also allows you to view the persons profile to find out a little more about them (Only if they have chosen to share this information about themselves).
