A beautiful country with spectacular views and sandy beaches that one always keeps in their travel bucket list. And who can forget this being one of the locations for ‘Game of Thrones’!
But, there are many places here that people believe are supposedly haunted. This highway, between Staro Petrovo Selo and Nova Gradiška, is known to be one of the most haunted highways in the world. A whopping number of accidents have taken place on this highway, two being famous personalities – Macedonian singer Todor “Toše” Proeski, who died in 2007 and Croatian actress Dolores Lambaša, who died in 2013. The other, of course being many paranormal encounters by people driving down this road. Most drivers are said to have experienced unexplained phenomena and sightings, and blame ‘dark forces’ for the killings.
Now, drivers report losing concentration, losing radio signal, and losing control of their vehicle. Some even say they felt their car was being pulled by a mysterious force in the opposite direction of where they were trying to go. And of course, there are multiple sightings of a little ghost girl who will disappear when you try to help her.
